With its pre-defined, proven functionality and an intuitive graphical user interface, it is designed to radically simplify the development of dynamic RGB-LED automotive ambient lighting applications for engineers of all backgrounds.
Melexis introduces the MLX81339, a new embedded motor driver with PWM/Serial interface. This integrated circuit (IC) is designed for compact 3-phase BLDC and stepper motor control up to 40 W in industrial applications such as fans, pumps, and positioning systems. Its programmable flash memory enables full application customization.
Melexis announces the MLX90514, a dual-input inductive sensor integrated circuit (IC). The novel device simultaneously processes signals from two sets of coils to compute differential or vernier angles on-chip. This sensor is designed for next-generation automotive applications, particularly in systems such as steering torque feedback, steering angle sensing, or steering rack motor control (including steer-by-wire implementations).
Melexis unveils a variant of the MLX92211, a 3-wire Hall-effect latch. This new device is designed for lateral magnetic position sensing, with high ESD protection and a high output current limit. This latest addition enables motor miniaturization by providing enhanced integration and cost-effective performance, ideal for automotive compact motors used in applications such as seat motors, sunroofs and thermal expansion valves.
Melexis introduces the MLX90642, a revolutionary thermographic sensor featuring a 32×24 pixel InfraRed (IR) array that redefines market expectations. It offers a drastically improved signal-to-noise ratio, global shutter readout, and onboard temperature calculation at a competitive price point. The MLX90642 improves performance in smart cooking, HVAC, fire hazard prevention, power electronics overheating detection, and hotspot localization.
Melexis announced the launch of the MLX91218 low magnetic field ( LF ) chip . As the latest version of Melexis’ IMC-Hall® current sensor chip, this chip is designed for low current (less than 100A ) applications and can achieve smart energy monitoring in residential and small industrial distribution units, microgrids and electric vehicle ( EV ) charging lines. The chip uses non-invasive technology and is very suitable for clamp measurement applications.
